Yesterday Microsoft
ended supportfor Windows XP
meaning the company
no longer provides security updates
to the popular OS
except in the form
of upgrading your system
to Windows 8.
What if our government
had people
that didn't want
other people
to keep something
that made their lives
more functional
(however slightly
or maybe even
just bearable)
and said they had
to upgrade themselves
in order to receive
those benefits?
(Luckily such an ideology
is purely hypothetical.)
