Taiwan has just elected
its first female president
the oppositional
Democratic Progressive Party leader
Tsai Ing-wen
whose party has traditionally leaned in favor
of an independent Taiwan.
An official press release from China
says that there is "no denying
that the DPP's return rule
poses grave challenges
to cross-strait relations."
There's an opportunity
for Donald Trump
to make another cheap shot
at Hillary Clinton's
hopelessly female candidacy
though he may accidentally indicate
his anti-democracy leanings.
